Adventures with Hybrid Cloud
Having your compute sit in a public cloud data centre does not meet every use case. You may need to extend the functionality closer to your users, even inside your own data centre, for performance, resilience or legal reasons. Hybrid cloud solutions, offer you to keep a lot of the same tooling, and a lot of the familiar networking, while meeting the above requirements. In this talk, we will talk about hands-on experience hybrid cloud solutions such as AWS Outposts, Snowball Edge, mixing Amazon cloud and on-prem networking. The upsides, the drawbacks, and other alternatives.
