Alien Attack: A Hands-on Serverless Adventure

Synopsis: In this hands-on workshop, you will troubleshoot and develop new features to ingest, process and analyse data in an event source system that controls the backend for a multi-player game 'Alien Attack'.

This backend is in some serious need of features to support real-time data processing for the game.

So armed with AWS serverless services including Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda amongst others, attendees will get hands on experience on how to build and deploy these features and make them a reality.

This is a Level 200/300 workshop so some basic knowledge on cloud computing is assumed. We will kick-off the session with a briefing on the services you will encounter. For those already familiar with serverless services and architectures on AWS, there are also extension modules available to keep you engaged.

Resources: It is a hands-on workshop so you will need your own laptop. Other than a browser, there are no software requirements just come ready to have fun!
