Building developer portals made easier with Backstage
In today's fast-paced world of development, the constant introduction of new languages, technologies, and various SAAS offerings, with every company adopting different technologies can make the process tedious. Consequently, engineers' productivity can be significantly reduced. The primary objective of Backstage is to simplify development by allowing engineers to concentrate on their work without needing to be experts in every facet of infrastructure tooling. Backstage achieves this by integrating all infrastructure tooling, services, and documentation, creating a cohesive and streamlined development environment that spans from beginning to end. Additionally, Red Hat is actively engaged in developing an Internal Developer Platform(IDP) that harnesses the capabilities of Backstage that aims to accelerate the onboarding and adoption of Red Hat Open Hybrid Cloud platforms.
