1. Who we are

Cloud Native AI Summit (cloudnative.ai) is an independent, community-driven conference organised by mate.dev in collaboration with FOST. Events are held in Melbourne, Australia and Paris, France.

2. What data we collect

We collect data in the following ways:

Analytics (Google Analytics) — if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (pages visited, session duration, rough location). Google processes this data under their privacy policy. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
Newsletter sign-ups — your email address if you voluntarily subscribe. Processed by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) under their privacy policy.
Event registration — name, email, and payment details when you register through FOST's ticketing platform. See FOST's privacy policy for details.

3. Cookies

We use two types of storage:

Consent preference — stored in localStorage to remember your choice. Never sent to any server.
Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics only if you accept. These include _ga (2-year expiry) and _ga_* (session). You can opt out at any time via Google's opt-out tool.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at community@mate.dev.
