About
Yossi is a Principal Engineer at Incredibuild, where he works on build acceleration and the unified cache layer behind Incredibuild's new GitHub Actions runners. He also founded islo.dev: persistent agentic sandboxes on real Linux VMs, positioned against ephemeral container-only platforms. Yossi spends most of his week talking to the engineering teams behind the world's heaviest C++/C#/Windows-app codebases (game studios, medical devices, EDA, surgical robotics) and to AI-agent product teams running into the limits of stateless cloud. His talks focus on the unglamorous parts: caches, compile farms, snapshots, billing, the plumbing that decides whether SW 3.0 actually scales.

Forkable MicroVMs for Agent Workloads: Snapshots, Isolation, and Fast Resume
TalkCoding agents need fast, disposable, fully isolated compute, and open infrastructure already has most of the pieces. This talk builds an agent execution layer on open primitives: KVM, snapshot and restore, virtual networking, and storage built for fast clone and teardown. We cover image lifecycle, scheduling many short-lived agent workers, and observability across a fleet of disposable microVMs. Every piece is open and portable, no proprietary platform required.
